Why film quality matters

Cheap tint turns purple. Ceramic does not.

You have seen the failures around town. Purple windows, bubbling corners, film peeling off the back glass. That is dyed film losing its fight with Colorado sun, and at this altitude it loses fast.

What tint is legal in Colorado?
Front side windows must let in more than 27 percent of light. Everything behind the driver can go as dark as you want, and the windshield can take a brow above the AS-1 line. We keep every install street legal and will tell you straight if a shade you want is not.
How long does it take?
Most vehicles are in and out in about two hours. Full vehicles, windshields and vehicles needing old tint removed take longer. We confirm timing with your quote so you can plan your day.
Why do I see bubbles or haze right after the install?
That is moisture curing out of the film and it is completely normal. It clears as the film dries, usually within a few days, longer in cold weather. Keep the windows up for the first few days and it will settle glass clear.
My car already has dark rear glass. Is that tint?
Factory privacy glass is dyed glass, not film. It blocks some light but very little heat and UV. Ceramic film over privacy glass is one of the most noticeable comfort upgrades on trucks and SUVs.
Does ceramic film mess with phone or GPS signal?
No. Older metallic films could interfere because of their metal layer. Ceramic film has none, so GPS, Bluetooth, radio and phone signal pass straight through.
What about the warranty?
Every install is registered with LLumar and carries their manufacturer backed warranty against fading, bubbling, peeling and color change. You get the documentation when you pick the vehicle up.
